The Legal Aid Society of Hawaii is a public interest, non-profit law firm dedicated to achieving fairness and justice through legal advocacy, outreach, and education for those in need. Established in 1950, Legal Aid has 11 offices statewide and over 100 staff members dedicated to achieving Legal Aid's vision of "Building a Just Society."

Legal Aid also offers help with SENIOR CITIZEN legal issues, HOUSING DISCRIMINATION, IRS TAX ISSUES, and issues affecting the HOMELESS. The Senior Intake Hotline is 1-888-536-0011.

The purpose of the intake Hotline is to provide easy access to services at the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii. Primarily, our clients can apply for services through our toll-fee state-wide phone service, which operates during the following times:
MONDAY - FRIDAY
9:00am to 11:30am in the morning, and
1:00pm to 3:30pm in the afternoon
Be prepared to provide information about your legal problem, income, assets, and number of people in your household. If you are not a US citizen, you must be able to provide proof of your legal residency when meeting with staff.
