EAH Housing is a nonprofit corporation founded with the belief that attractive affordable rental housing is the cornerstone to sustainable, living communities.
On Maui, EAH Housing has two apartment complexes, which include the Imi Ikena Apartments and Kahului Town Terrace.
Imi Ikena provides affordable apartment homes for working families in a convenient location in Wailuku, close to Kahului Public Library and Maui Community College. The community features a picnic area and tot lot, as well as a number of Green features including low-VOC paints, solar hot water, ENERGY STAR appliances and light fixtures. 25 of the units will be reserved for residents who earn at or below 50% AMI, with the remaining 2 rental units set aside for residents who earn at or below 30% AMI as established by the Housing Division, Department of Housing and Human Concerns (HDDC), County of Maui. The development meets goals set out by the Wailuku Redevelopment Plan to improve existing infrastructure, create construction jobs, and improve the curb appeal of the area.
