Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) Service is a medical alert service to assure that frail, elderly persons at risk of falling or living alone can have access to help right away.
A transmitter pendant or button is worn around the neck or wrist all the time. In the event of an emergency or whenever help is needed, the pendant's button is pressed. This results in a signal being picked up by a unit that is connected to the phone line and that calls our company's Call Center that is always open.
The Call Center will speak to the caller over the base unit's speaker phone and if help is needed, call family, friends, neighbors or EMS to respond.
