The Maui County Emergency Management Agency is responsible for administering and operating the various local, state, and federal emergency management programs for the County. This includes planning, preparing, and coordinating emergency management operations in meeting disaster situations and coordinating post-disaster recovery operations. The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills.
