Molokai Community Health Center's mission is to provide and promote accessible comprehensive individual and community health care to the people of Molokai with respect and aloha. Community Health centers are community-based and patient-directed organizations that serve populations with limited access to health care. These include low income populations, the uninsured, those with limited English proficiency, migrant and seasonal farm workers, individuals and families experiencing homelessness, and those living in public housing.

Behavioral Health Services:
Behavioral health providers can help reduce symptoms associated with various chronic medical conditions, such as migraine and tension headaches, obesity, diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension, pain disorders and cardiovascular disease. Programs for smoking cessation, weight loss, alcohol/ other drug use, parenting, chronic pain management or other lifestyle modifications are also offered either through group or individual sessions Providers also address other emotional or behavioral problems such as family or relationship difficulties, excess stress, grief/loss, depression, anxiety or anger that may be negatively impacting an individual’s personal/family life, school, social history and work.

Dental Services:
Our providers perform a range of services for patients of all ages, including comprehensive oral exams, cleanings, dentures, consultation, basic restorative care (fillings, crowns), root canal therapy, and extractions.

We accept most private insurance plans and Medicaid/QUEST. Time-of-service discounts is available for uninsured, as well as sliding fee discounts for underinsured and uninsured patients. Our procedures and visit fees may be discounted based on family income level using State and Federal guidelines. Proof of income is required at the time of registration (to be updated annually) to participate in these sliding scale discounts. Please remember that your insurance company may not cover all dental costs. It is your responsibility to pay any deductible or other balance not paid by your insurance company. Please be prepared to pay your copay at each visit.

Medical Services:
The medical department provides primary care, internal, pediatric and family services to the community, along with enabling services such as case management.
